About New Orleans Therapist Dr. Eileen Wynne
Having served for over a decade on the staff of Ochsner Hospital in the Department of Psychiatry and the Department of Nephrology, Dr. Wynne’s clinical experience is wide ranging, including individual psychotherapy and group psychotherapy. She has treated clients with simple psycho-social adjustment issues as well as clients with severe, chronic mental illness. Dr. Wynne has also counseled persons dealing with psychological aspects of life-threatening medical conditions.
After serving as an adjunct professor at Tulane University, Dr. Wynne now offers workshops and consultation to high schools in the New Orleans area on the topic of successfully navigating and adjusting to the transition from high school to college life.
With 16 years on the staff of psychiatry at Tulane University Student Health Care Dept. of Psychiatry, she worked with undergraduate and graduate students to help them develop greater coping mechanisms. Currently, in her private practice, she specializes in helping individuals deal with academic challenges and post-college stressors.
Dr. Wynne helps individuals of all ages and life experiences deal with feelings of anxiety and depression. She also helps young adults make independent and professional decisions.
Dr. Wynne maintains her private practice in Uptown New Orleans, Louisiana. Her office is conveniently located within walking distance from Audubon Park, Tulane University, and Loyola University.
